Lausitzer Füchse - Dresden Eislöwen 2:1 a.P. Friday 20/02/04 Foxes win key game 2-1 in Penalty Shot Out
The Lausitzer Füchse beat the Dresden Eislöwen 2:1 at home in the local Derby on Friday Night. The Foxes had a good start and a lot of chances to score but no goals. An Kasperczyk goal put the Icelions ahead but 5 minutes later Markus Kempf equalised. It was an assisted goal by Todd Gill. Two goalless periods were followed. Both Teams had some more chances but the Goalies Itämies and Ackers had an good Night and saved for their Team. Ludwig from Foxes and Calce from Icelions had one Minute before end the Chance for winning goal but the game went to Overtime. No further goals and the game finished 1-1. In Penalty Shot-out Andre Mücke was the lucky player and scored the win goal.

Foxes lose in Munich 3-1
The Lausitzer Füchse lost out at Munich on Sunday night 3-1. It were a good start at Olympiahall. An early Alexander Engel goal put Foxes ahead. Only 2.22 minutes were played. It were assisted by Todd Gill. Munich saw no good in the first 30 Minutes. But again, our Team had a lot of chances but no goals.. Munichs Mario Jann equalised in the second period and five minutes later Daniel Menge scored the led for Munich. In the 3rd Gill, Pohling and Hanusch had big chances but they couldn´t equalise. Some minutes later Munich had Powerplay and Fabian von Schilcher scored for his team. The Foxes couldn´t came back and lost. Tom Kirton played in both games. Next week our Team must win if they want to come into the Playoffs. An special Train for Fans and Team will go to Neuwied...
