SC Mittelrhein Neuwied - EHC Lausitzer Füchse 4:5 Friday 27.02.04 Foxes win against Bears
Last Friday, a special Train was moving to Neuwied. Fans and Team were going for first time on the Road by Train. Foxes´Fans and Bears´Fans had a great time when the Train arrived at Neuwied´s Trainstation and later at their Icestadium. The Game was important for the Foxes to reach the Play Offs. It began nervous and Neuwied scored by Havlik. Martin Sekera equalised two Minutes later but by a goal of Kopitz Neuwied had a lead by 2-1 after 1st period. With the start of the 2nd period Martin Sekera equalised again for 2-2. Later, former Bear Marcel Linke scored the lead but again 3 Minutes before end of period. Majer from Neuwied scored the 3-3. In the last period, our Team had a good start and scored by Dennis Cardona and Vadim Kulabuchov. The lead was 3-5. Neuwied scored only one time by Stevens and couldn´t tie the game. Player of the game was Martin Sekera, he had 2 goals and 1 assist. The Special-Train was a full success.
EHC Lausitzer Füchse - EC Peiting 7:1 Sunday 29.02.04 Foxes beat Peiting 7:1
After the Success of the Friday game the Foxes had an homestand against EC Peiting. The bavarian Team came as Underdog and they didn´t had a lucky evening. Jörg Pohling scored the lead and was out of the game later by an Injurie. EC Peiting could equalise in Minute 11 because the defense was sleepy in the beginning of the game. But they could play with only two Rows. In the 2nd and 3rd period, the Foxes played their line. They scored 6 times and won 7-1.
