The Foxes travelled to Schweinfurt on Friday to play Game 1 in the Playoffs. After the 1st period it looked bad for our Team. Mortier put them 2-0 ahead. In Minute 31 came the change of the game. Kulabuchov pulled one back and Schmidt scored the equaliser before the second break. In the 3rd the Foxes played their game and Mücke scored for the led. The Dogs couldn´t equalise and the game ended 2-3. In the best of 3 series the Foxes led 1-0.

Foxes go into Semi-Final
Our Foxes reached the semi-final with a 4-1 victory over the Dogs. In the 1st they played concentrated and scored by Kuhlee for 1-0 in minute 8. The Dogs tried to equalise but Itämies saved the led. Two more Schmidt goals made it 3-0 in the 2nd. The Dogs changed the Goalie after that, then Müller made it 3-1 one minute before the break. Sekera made it 4-1 with an ENG, 20 seconds from the end and gave the Foxes a comprehensive win. "The better team reached the next round and they can reach the final" Guest Coach Pasanen said. After the game Martin Sekera became MVP of the year, followed by Itämies and Mücke. Next Friday it goes to Moskitos Essen to play game 1 of the semi-final. The other is between Bremerhaven and Munich/Dresden.
