As you can see from the headline we have a new category for all canadian supporters of the Lausitzer Füchse, now. We hope that this reports will help the canadian supporters of Todd Gill, T.P. Kirton and Greg Schmidt to have an eye on them playing in Germany. In the future you are going to find an english report about the latest weekend on every Monday.

Welcome master round
Last sunday the foxes finished third in the main round in the Oberliga Season 2003/04. Next friday the master round series against the best teams from the east and west league will start. The foxes will start with a home stand against SC Mittelrhein/Neuwied on friday, 23.th . For the match 2 days later a roadtrip to Peiting is standing on the schedule.

T.P. Kirton played his first game for his new club in Dresden. He was playing in the second line with Markus Kempf and Jörg Pohling. His Canadian teammate Greg Schmidt played one of his best games this season. But the foxes lost the game 4:3. In the last five minutes they had many chances to tie the game but the luck was not on their side.

Kirton scores his first goal
After the defeat in Dresden, the foxes had a home stand against the Selber Wölfe. And in minute 18 it was time for Mister Kirton to score his first goal for Weisswasser. After a great pass from Martin Sekera he had a breaktrough, ran alone on Goalie Kai Fischer and shouted the puck in the left angle. The foxes won the game with 4:1.

Jo Lausitzer füchse = Lausitzer Füchse. Aber wenn ich schreibe die Füchse an sich dann übersetz ich das auch ins englische...
