At last Weekend, the Master Round startet. The Lausitzer Füchse are standing now on 4th place after playing two of eighteen Games.
1st master round game - 23.01.2004 Lausitzer Füchse - SC Mittelrhein - Neuwied 2:3 after Penalty (0:0,0:0,2:2) First lose aggainst an underdog
In the first Match of the master round the Lausitzer Füchse had an home stand against SC Mittelrhein - Neuwied. In whole game, the Foxes had 60:22 Shots on goal, but no player got the luck to score in the 1st and 2nd period. In 3rd Period the Team of Neuwied take their Chance and scored two times, but they got no luck to win in Regular Time. Greg Schmidt and Martin Sekera scored in last two Minutes(58. and 60.) to held their team in Life. In Overtime nobody could score. In Penalty shout-out Mittelrhein-Neuwied defeated the Foxes 2:3 as Final Result.
2nd Master Round Game - 25.01.2004 EC Peiting - Lausitzer Füchse 2:3 (1:2,0:0,1:1) Gill leads Foxes to win
After the lose at home the Foxes go on the road to play at EC Peiting. Similar to Friday Game the Foxes had lot of Chances to score. In 10th Minute they scored to lead the Game. Two Times EC Peiting could compensate the result. Vadim Kulabuchov played for T.P. Kirton and scored the 3rd Goal in 53. Minute for the Foxes for the Final Result. Todd Gill scored also in the 1st Period.
