Schweinfurt Mighty Dogs- Lausitzer Füchse Friday January 30 Cardona puts foundation-stone for victory
T.P. Kirton did not play at this evening, had however also gone on this trip. The Foxes played very well and scored early through Dennis Cardona (Minute 7). In second period Cardona scored again that the Foxes got an comfortable lead. During the game they got still chances but no goals. In third period the Dogs came better into the game. Both teams scored two times again. The Dogs tried to adjust the game but Fox´s Goalie Iiro Itämies saved the lead by 3-4.
Foxes loses points from Schweinfurt play 4-3 with 0-5 rated.
The German Ice Hockey Federation communicated today, that the away game in Schweinfurt with 0:5 against the Lausitzer Füchse is rated. Reason is the employment of Todd Gill, which did not possess a valid player passport. The Chance to get the Points back is very small.

T.P. Kirton did not play again. Todd Gill couldn´t be used cause of its player passport. The Foxes got a good start and scored through Powerplay in Minute 6 ( Kempf). One Minute later Mosquito´s Wikström adjusted to one all. In second Period both teams got chances to score. Goalie Sebastian Elwing made a good Job. But the Foxes could not use several Powerplay situations. 14 Minutes before End the Guests used their Chance and scored again. "Our guys got the the key, but they didn`t lock up."Tom Kirton said.
